Definitions describe how a term is used in these platforms and guides. A term can have a broader meaning outside this Help Center. Context is shown in parentheses when the same word could mean different things on different sites.

- Accessibility request (Vultus Help): A support request about a control, page, or workflow that is difficult to use with assistive technology.
- Account issue / Account or access (Vultus Help): The request category for sign-in, permissions, profile, verification, recovery, or account-security problems.
- Active (ToZ Rituals): The schedule label for the ritual assigned to the present day.
- Affirm (ToZ Rituals): To recite a prayer with intent during a ritual.
- AI moderator (Vultus Templorum): The automated moderator that works alongside automated systems and human moderators to apply community rules.
- AI translation (ToZ Translation): A machine-generated first translation of a page. A translator or approver must still check its language, meaning, and formatting.
- Announcement (Vultus Help): A published notice about an update, known issue, maintenance event, or other information readers should see.
- Anonymous Questions (Ancient Forums): The forum area for members who want to ask questions anonymously.
- Ancient Ethics and Philosophy (Library of Thoth): One of the Library's eleven official subject categories.
- Ancient Forums: The Temple community forum for discussions, sermons, private conversations, support, and regional communities.
- Appeal (community support): A request asking staff to review a moderation decision believed to be mistaken.
- Apollo's Astrology: The astrology platform for charts, transits, planetary timing, fixed stars, educational material, and related tools.
- Approve (ToZ Translation): The approver action that publishes a reviewed translation to the live website.
- Approver (ToZ Translation): A staff member who reviews submitted translations, corrects minor issues, and approves or rejects pages.
- Article (Library of Thoth): A written work intended for reference or study. It is one of the Library's three content types.
- Aspect (Apollo's Astrology): A relationship between positions in an astrological chart, represented in the site's educational and chart material.
- Astrology and Karmic Studies (Library of Thoth): One of the Library's eleven official subject categories.
- Astrology Calendars (Apollo's Astrology): Calendar-based tools for astrological information and time-related event tracking.
- Attachment (Vultus Help and Ancient Forums): A supported image or file added to a request, reply, post, or thread.
- Author (Library of Thoth): The Clergy member or contributor who wrote a work. Selecting an author narrows the catalog to that author's works.
- Auto-save (ToZ Translation): The setting that saves translation work automatically while a page is being edited.
- Avatar (community platforms): The image associated with a member's profile and governed by the community rules.

- Ban (community platforms): A moderation action that removes or blocks access, either temporarily or permanently, according to the applicable rules.
- Birth chart / Natal chart (Apollo's Astrology): A chart calculated from a birth date, exact birth time, and place, showing planets, zodiac signs, houses, and their relationships.
- Block (ToZ Translation): One paragraph or structured unit of source content paired with an area for its translation.
- Bookmark (Ancient Forums and Library of Thoth): A saved forum item or browser-saved direct link kept for later use.
- Browser notification (Vultus Help): A reply alert delivered by the browser to one device after the requester enables it.
- Browse (Library of Thoth): The complete Library catalog, opened with the telescope control and shown newest first by default.
- Bug / something broken / Bug or technical issue (Vultus Help): The request category for errors, failed actions, broken pages, display problems, or other unexpected behavior.

- Catalog (Library of Thoth): The complete organized listing of sermons, articles, and materials available in the Library.
- Category (Library of Thoth): The subject under which a Library work is organized and filtered.
- Category (Vultus Help): The request classification that describes the kind of outcome or assistance needed.
- Chart (Apollo's Astrology): A calculated astrological view for a person, date, location, return, transit, or other supported context.
- Child safety (community rules): The rule area protecting minors from exploitation or endangerment.
- Clergy (Temple platforms): Members of the Temple's Clergy who contribute teachings, sermons, schedules, moderation, or other work across supported platforms.
- Clergy Sermons (Ancient Forums): The highlighted forum area containing Clergy sermons, articles, and schedules.
- Closed (Vultus Help): A request status meaning the conversation is no longer active. A relevant reply can reopen it when that option is available.
- Code view (Ancient Forums): The thread-editor view for inspecting or editing the underlying post markup or structure.
- Community rules: The conduct requirements that apply to participation on the relevant Temple community platform.
- Complaint (Vultus Help): The request category for asking that a decision, action, conduct issue, or poor experience be reviewed.
- Component (Status): A monitored part of a service whose availability can be shown separately on the status page.
- Confirmation code (Vultus Help): A 6-digit email code used to prove control of the address before a request or subscription is activated.
- Contact & send (Vultus Help): The final request-form stage for contact information, human verification, email confirmation, and submission.
- Conversation (Ancient Forums): A private direct-message thread between forum members.
- Critical (Vultus Help): The highest urgency, reserved for an immediate safety concern, active account compromise, severe privacy exposure, or widespread service failure.
- Current Planets (Apollo's Astrology): The live table showing current celestial positions, direct or retrograde state, zodiac position, and upcoming changes.
- Current Sky (Apollo's Astrology): The tool showing the current planetary sky and related live astrological indicators for the selected location.
- Customize (Library of Thoth): The catalog panel for sorting, ordering, grouping, and filtering works.

- Data deletion request (Vultus Help): A request for staff review and removal of eligible request data linked to a verified email address.
- Data export (Vultus Help): A downloadable JSON copy of requests linked to a verified email, their public updates, and attached file names.
- Degraded (Status): A service state meaning the service is available but slower or impaired.
- Details (Ancient Forums): The account area for profile information such as About and Signature settings.
- Details (Vultus Help): The request-form stage for site, urgency, affected page, device, browser, reproduction steps, and other context.
- Difficulty (ToZ Rituals): The ritual display setting that controls how many times each word is vibrated.
- Direct message (Ancient Forums and Vultus Templorum): A private conversation between members when their role and permissions allow it.

- Document (Library of Thoth): The readable file attached to a catalog item.
- Doxing (community rules): Sharing, collecting, scraping, or extracting another person's private or identifying information without consent.
- Draft (Ancient Forums): A saved but unpublished post or thread that can be resumed later.
- Draft (ToZ Translation): A saved translation that has not yet been submitted for review.
- Download (Library of Thoth and ToZ Rituals): The action that saves the selected work or ritual as a PDF.

- Element Classic (Vultus Templorum): The mobile app named in the sign-in guide for accessing the chat platform on a phone.
- Email link (Vultus Help): The My requests option that emails a one-time secure link after control of the inbox is established by opening that message.
- Email updates (Vultus Help): Request notifications sent to the requester's verified email and controllable per request.
- Entry (Library of Thoth): One work as listed in the catalog with its title, date, type, author, and quick actions.
- Expected result (Vultus Help): What the requester believed should have happened, included to help staff compare intended and observed behavior.
- Eye button (Library of Thoth): The quick action that opens a work's document immediately for on-screen reading.

- Feedback / idea / Feedback or suggestion (Vultus Help): The request category for improvements, usability feedback, content ideas, feature suggestions, or praise.
- Filter (Library of Thoth): A choice that narrows the catalog by type, category, year, author, or first letter.
- First Letter (Library of Thoth): The filter that shows works whose titles begin with the selected letter.
- Fixed Stars (Apollo's Astrology): The chart and learning area for fixed-star relationships and their use in astrological analysis.
- Focus mode (ToZ Translation): The translation layout that places each translation block directly beneath its English source block.
- Follow (Ancient Forums): The action that subscribes a member to activity on a subforum or thread.
- Forum Menu (Ancient Forums): The main menu for conversations, notifications, bookmarks, posting, search, members, support, and Temple links.

- Harassment (community rules): Targeting, threatening, intimidating, stalking, or coordinating attacks against another user.
- Help Center (Vultus Help): The searchable collection of guides, answers, site information, policies, and this glossary.
- Helpful / Not helpful (Vultus Help email): Controls that rate whether one email was useful. They do not rate the staff member or the entire request.
- High (Vultus Help): An urgency used when important access or functionality is significantly affected or the issue is time-sensitive.
- Home page: The main starting page of a site or platform.
- Human verification (Vultus Help): The security check completed before certain public actions, such as requesting an email code.

- Impersonation (community rules): Pretending to be another person, member, staff member, or the Temple of Zeus.
- Incident (Status): An event describing an unplanned service problem and its public updates.
- Item (Library of Thoth): One cataloged work with its own page, metadata, document, and actions.

- JSON (Vultus Help): The structured file format used for a request-data export.

- Keep me signed in (Vultus Help): The private-device option that remembers access to My requests for the available session period.
- Keyword (search): A word or phrase entered to find matching guides, forum content, Library works, rituals, or astrology articles.
- Known issues & updates (Vultus Help): The home-page area for published notices about current problems, maintenance, and important changes.

- Library of Thoth: The Temple's digital library for preserving verified sermons, articles, and materials for public study and download.
- Listen / Read aloud (Vultus Help): Guide controls that generate spoken audio from the published article text.
- Live session (ToZ Rituals): A scheduled ritual session led for the community at the time shown in the reader's local timezone.
- Local (Status): The time-display option that shows incident and maintenance times in the reader's local timezone.
- Low (Vultus Help): An urgency used for a minor or cosmetic issue with no time pressure.

- Reference code (Vultus Help): The public-format request identifier, shown as
SH-XXXX-XXXX, used with verified email access to locate a request. - Reject (ToZ Translation): The approver action that returns a page for correction and re-translation instead of publishing it.
- Reply: A response added to an existing support request, forum thread, or private conversation.
- Report / Safety or moderation (Vultus Help): The request category for abuse, harassment, spam, inappropriate content, dangerous behavior, or a moderation concern.

- Single sign-on (SSO): A shared sign-in method that allows an authorized account provider to grant access to another Temple platform.
- Site / Platform (Vultus Help): The affected Temple service selected on a request so staff receive the correct context.
- Solar Return (Apollo's Astrology): A chart cast for the exact yearly moment when the Sun returns to its natal zodiac position.
- Something else (Vultus Help): The request category used when none of the available categories accurately fit.
- Source (Library of Thoth): The original Ancient Forums thread where a work was first published, including its discussion.
- Spam (community rules): Repetitive, unsolicited, off-topic, or disruptive content, advertising, or flooding.
- Spirituality and the Soul (Library of Thoth): One of the Library's eleven official subject categories.

- Topic: The subject of a search, guide, forum thread, Library work, or support request.

- Verified email (Vultus Help): An email address whose inbox control has been proven through the required code or secure email link.
- Verified work (Library of Thoth): A work preserved faithfully as published and categorized for continued study.
- Vibrate (ToZ Rituals): To chant a name or word aloud and allow the sound to resonate.
- Vultem: The workspace platform for Zevists, supported through Vultus Help and monitored on the status page.
- Vultus Help: The support hub for Temple of Zeus sites and platforms, used to report issues, request help, follow replies, read guides, and check service status.
- Vultus Templorum: The official chat platform for Zevists, with shared account access, community spaces, and active moderation.

- Waiting on you (Vultus Help): A request status meaning staff need a reply or additional information from the requester.
- Word of Power / Mantra (ToZ Rituals): A sacred name or word that is vibrated during a ritual.
- Work (Library of Thoth): A sermon, article, or material preserved as one item in the Library catalog.

- Year (Library of Thoth): The catalog filter that limits results to works published in the selected year.

- Zevism: The religious and spiritual tradition referenced throughout the Temple of Zeus sites and community guides.
- Zevist: A member or follower of the Zevist community.
- Zevist Portal / Zeus Portal: Names used in the guides for the shared Temple account and sign-in service used by Ancient Forums and connected platforms.
